After a rough turn in health, Butter passed over Rainbow bridge yesterday evening. Butter was held and comforted until her last breath. She was 12 weeks old.

We would like to take this moment to remind everyone that with Easter coming up, also comes the tidal wave of calls for unwanted ducks, chickens and rabbits. These animals are life commitments, not Easter presents. They do not stay small and cute forever. They grow, they quack and cluck loudly, they chew on things they shouldn't, make lots of messes and they have daily needs.

Please do your research before purchasing a new pet. They deserve much better.
